At the Day of Wellness event, Sue Webb will be teaching an all-levels yoga class, self-regulating breathing techniques, and with my friend and colleague, Tiffany Tran, a sound bath meditation. I’m excited to share this event with our community because self-care is very important in helping us feel balanced.  Come ready to move, stretch, learn, relax, and connect with your body and mind. This is a great opportunity to give yourself a much-needed break and the gift of an afternoon of self-care.

No previous experience in yoga or meditation needed. This is a beginner-friendly workshop.

1:00-1:30pm: Opening and CBD talk

1:30-2:15pm: Yoga practice

The yoga practice will be an all-levels class. We will start with soft stretching to help reduce tension in the neck, shoulders, and hips. We will move into standing and balancing poses to center and ground the body and mind.

2:15-2:30pm: Pranayama and meditation

Pranayama means breathing practice. You will learn both energizing and calming breathing practices to help you find balance in times when you’re feeling unbalanced.

2:30-2:45pm: Journaling/Mindful coloring/Doodling

Bring your journal or enjoy some mindful coloring.

2:45-3:00pm: Break and tea served

3:00-3:30pm: Dietitian talk: juice served

3:30-3:45: Mindfulness talk and Mindful-Movement practice

Learn ways to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life and to reduce stress. Instruction and guidance will be provided in short practices where we will explore mindfulness in stillness and movement.

3:45-4:00pm: Break

4:00-4:45pm: Sound Bath
